SYNOPSIS

It’s the year 1018.

a mysterious plague ravaged the once-proud kingdom of Aincrad. 

This patriarchal society, ruled by men since time immemorial, crumbled as the illness disproportionately struck the male population. 

Seizing the moment, a militant women's group called ‘’the Frauwinstaz’’ launched a rebellion. They toppled the monarchy, dismantled the old order, and established a ruthless matriarchy. 

Men, once the dominant force, were now ostracized, stripped of power, and treated as weaklings and second-class citizens.

Spring of the year 1020.

‘’Axel’’ a self-centered egotistical foreign mercenary alongside his slave ‘’Freya’’ arrives at the kingdom’s shores…

Unleash mayhem in a Kingdom teetering on the edge of a civil war.  Axel is a strategic RPG where you play as Axel, a self-proclaimed hero with a controversial reputation.  Carve your own path through the kingdom of Aincrad, a land fraught with political tension.

Embrace the brutality.  Axel isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.  Master the art of strategic combat, leaving a trail of destruction in your wake. Swing your sword first and ask questions never.

Dominate the battlefield and the bedroom. As the self-proclaimed "Hero of Humanity," beautiful women flock to your legend. Monogamy is for losers. Take a break from swinging your steel sword and instead whip out your meat sword and conquer yourself some ‘’forts’’

This is not your typical hero's journey.  Axel offers a mature take on the SRPG genre, challenging you to do what it takes.  Build your forces, outwit your opponents, and carve a bloody path for complete and utter domination.

• PS2: Transferring saves between game versions is easily done through copying/pasting the save folder.
